Congrats - if you can still cycle then get out there and enjoy it (but don't over do it). Keeping active during pregnancy is supposed to help loads with recovering size and shape post-partum.

And Novembers a good date, you'll be biggest and hottest when its cool - my wife's expecting our second in JUly - she huge and hot and extremely uncomfortable in this weather. (Plus a pregnancy related hip complain means she can't cycle whilst pregnant - so make sure you enjoy it if/while you can ;))

Wonderful! Congratulations!

My wife had her first scan today... I am feeling completely tearfully, overwhelmed now, having just seen the beating heart of my child. It is something you can't possibly be prepared for. I have never been happier in my life.

Crikey, you wait until Mrs FM gives birth! I didn't stop crying for a week. :girl:

Yep, only seems like yesterday that I was blubbing and grinning like the village idiot when our eldest was born. Now I'm writing my 'father of the bride' speech for her wedding next month!

Congratulations :girl:

Hey i was 47 when we had our second child.

So i get my Post office Pension will have my state pension in 6 years and will still be drawing family allowance.

It's never too late.

Both of you enjoy parenthood.

Cos last sunday our eldest daughter would not walk with us to church said the wife looked like Elton John.I looked like in my sunglasses ,yellow polo shirt and dark chino trousers a BUMBLEBEE.
But both of them bring us great joy.

Do they do a cycle-chat jersey small enough?

I don't think so. But I have wool in cyclechat colours, and plenty of baby jacket patterns.

Mickle.... That 'trade price on running bikes....' thing. I have this nephew....

I am officiallly a wicked Auntie, I've slightly inadvertantly put it in my nephew's mind that his mummy drinks wine all the time (walking back from his christening party, she was quite merry and I was joking about it...). And he's old enough to say 'wine' quite clearly....
