Congratulations Cathryn - it can be hard work, but it's wonderful too.

Mine are now 11 and 8, but it doesn't seem so long ago that we were in the same position as you and Mr Ramsden. Hope everything goes well for you all from here on in.

Gentle cycling, whether static or road cycling is a good form of exercise for pregnant women, as it can be taken gently at your own individual pace. As for any type of exercise, wear loose, comfortable clothing and soft shoes. Do not allow yourself to become out of breath or push too hard; steep inclines should be avoided.

FM congratulations. TWO cycle chat babies, how wonderful! The scan was pretty amazing, wasn't it. I got a bit teary and Richard blinked a lot!!!

I LOVE that quote about cycling being good for pregnancy!! Luckily doctor, midwife and cardiologist (have dodgy heart) didn't even blink at me still cycling, cardiologist positively encouraging of it. I am a lot slower though, esp up hills. Husband delighted, he can now beat me
