this whole women and money thing peeves me right orf...why the hell should they always expect a bloke to pay for it all? I totally get the need for a guy to provide for family etc in a young relationship with kids where mum stays home etc...all good and natural, but later in life too many women seem to think a guys role is to bail them out of the carp they find themselves in due to poor life decisions in their youth. 50/50 is where it is at ladies, the biggest turn off in my book is a good looking women who has always had guys chasing her, turning her into a selfish prima dona, who screwed the poor bar steward for every penny she could after making his life hell on earth. Give me a grounded, warm, caring 'real' woman any day, regardless of looks.

Bit of a sweeping statement! Most females enjoy being equal including going Dutch, maybe as Arch said your meeting the wrong sort of women.
Doesn't mean we don't like being wined and dined but we can also dip into our purses to balance things out equally.

I never expect the man to pay for it all. I much prefer 50/50, I am very independent and don't need or want anyone to look after me.
