Yes, I actually did think it was a nice thing to do, not what I am used to though.

Unfortunately, the feminist movement has left blokes feeling like they're walking on egg shells, especially early on in a relationship as they're conscious of not crossing that fine line. In reality though, I feel the vast majority of women who don't have an agenda just want to be treated nicely and looked after. And there's nowt wrong with that.
