They seem like they are being reasonable but I would go through the insurance, full responsibility has been admitted and written down, apart from being a bad driver the guy at least sounds like he has some morals, you want a new bike and accessories and a few quid compensation for your pain and suffering, now I am not into thousands of pounds as seen on the daytime Sky tv adverts for injuries due to clumsiness or stupidity but where there has been proven negligence and resultant hardship the victim should be fully recompensed, what is done is done and cant be undone but I reckon the new bike plus £500 wouldnt be out of order.
