I also have two bank accounts, each opened with a quarter million, in cash, in my name. One in Sowerby Bridge, the other opened in Settle. First found out about them 7 years ago.

I always work on the principle that any e-mail or internet communication is the digital equivalent of sending a postcard.

Well I'm about half way between them both, distance wise. It'd mean a fair bit of cycling.Multitasking![]()
I think you missed the scare quotes around "secure" there. I'm quite sure that whatever combination of "mother's maiden name", "first make of pet" or "where my car went to school" secures my online banking is much more readily available than the strong password I chose - and can remember by virtue of using it daily - for my regular web-based emailThat's why I get annoyed with firms which insist on switching to secure email even for routine things - they're a real pain to access, and remember the login details and it drastically increases the time taken to get to the information.
We are incompatible, you talk more than meWell I'm about half way between them both, distance wise. It'd mean a fair bit of cycling.

I was thinking more about the other two mentioned. Does 8# on your mobile still give the same thing? We are incompatible, you talk more than me![]()
