Car maufacturers put in airbags, seatbelts, crumplezones after pressure to reduce the effects of accidents. Why not prevent accidents by making cars with mobile phone blocking materail in the roof etc.

The only way a mobile could be used in the car would be by physically mounting it to a hands free cradle which incorporates an external aerial .

Also make it cut out above 10MPH as well.

Plus if a driver looses signal during a conversation the first thing they will do is take their eyes of the road and try figure out what happened, while piling into the back of the road user in front.

Interesting... who would get done though, the car driver for illegally using the phone, or the cyclist using the illegal jammer? I wonder.....
