Is Valentine's a day when men give presents to women, but not women to men? Is so, how sad.

Not that I know of? I always give a present! (But then my OH works abroad for half the year, so we give each other presents all year round really...)

I'll get a box of After Eights, a card and some flowers, from the first service station I come to.

Can't wait to see what i'm getting, since the man has been offshore, travelling for a day and has a short connection at Heathrow! Love airport chocolates though...

I have my bikes .... And will be cleaning them with love tonight/tomorrow !
After That I will give my Mrs a bunch of roses ... Then I will tell her I have booked a week on Winter tanning camp in Majorca in 4 weeks time !
What a lovely present, what will you be doing while she's training in Majorca?

We're going to my works ceilieh (sp?) and volunteering, so we'll spend an hour or working on the door. Saves us paying the ticket price!

Then, on Saturday, we'll head back to NT's and hopefully plaster the guestroom ceiling.

Romance eh?

But we don't need to make a big deal of it. We tell each other we love each other (if you see what I mean) every day and we'd rather spend our money on things we really need or want.

I do occasionally say that one day (not necessarily Valentines Day) I want to spend all day sitting in bed, in a flimsey negligee, eating chocolates from a heart shaped box and watching soppy films - I think I saw someone do it in a black and white film once and it's the only girly thing I've had a yen to do! We had a look at a few heart shaped boxes of chocolates the other day in Sainsburys, and they were all exhorbitantly expensive (loadsa money for six chocolates or so), or hazelnut pralines, which I don't like.

I've been buying chocolates from Kennedys of Orton for the past five or six years. None of the recipients of Kennedys' fine products have ever refused a second box.

They do heart shaped boxes too.
