Got the train to Birmingham this morning for a bit of square grabbing around the centre and north, then a tailwind back to Leicester for a 100km ride.

22 new squares, max cluster also increased by 22.

My ride today saw me pick up another 5 tiles and add 2 to my max cluster.

Yesterday I did a bike orienteering event from Wansford. Most of the off-road tracks were riding really well and I managed to cover 58k in the allotted 3 hours. I 'accidentally' picked up 12 tiles just off the eastern edge of my max cluster but I need a couple more tiles to actually attach them to it.

A ride to expand my western edge which involved a bit of urban riding in Kettering , to tick of this month's metric century Id plotted a route from Oundle to Kettering and back so a drive to the start . Definitely brezzy out there the route did work out to be into the wind and back with a lovely tailwind , Added 53 new squares total now 6907 and 15 to max cluster total now 3746 . Just need 2 squares on my southern edge to get to 54*54 unfortunately they are about 40 miles apart .

That missing square on your top left corner I got of a bridle path coming in from the west via Bermuda park but I can't remember how rough it was but I would have done it on a road bike
Yes, that's next weeks ride + the 2 by Atherstone and a few more up towards Leicester. I've planned the same route, as the way in from the North is all private roads through Arbury Park. It doesn't look too off-road, especially this time of year. :okay:

Although my idea of East and West differs from yours I think I probably used the same track as you for that tile.

It is a track that is also designated as a footpath and I agree - it had a decent surface.
