Straddle the line, discord and rhyme
  • Saturday: Royal Mail attempt delivery to my home address. Via the website I organise redelivery to local Post Office on Monday.
  • Monday: Royal Mail attempt delivery to my home address.
  • Tuesday: Royal Mail attempt delivery to my home address. I spend 45 minutes on hold before speaking to customer service who assure me that delivery will be redirected to local Post Office for collection on Thursday.
  • Thursday: Royal Mail attempt delivery to my home address.

  • Thursday: I write a very detailed message of complaint on the contact form on the Royal Mail website explaining what has happened, my frustration at having tried two methods of redirection and the fact that this is not the first time this has happened. I request that they inform me what action they intend to take to remedy the immediate situation and to ensure that it does not happen again.
  • Friday: Royal Mail attempt delivery to my home address.

No. No it does not resolve my enquiry. It doesn't even acknowledge the points I made in my enquiry, much less address them.

I couldn't find the contact form again on the mess that is the Royal Mail website so I had to use the compliment form to complain about the person who sent me this.
