ventura pro tour 2011 vs carrera tdf

hi all just wondering if any of you have ever come across the ventura pro tour just found 1 for sale new reduced to £310 http://www.jejamescycles.co.uk/ventura-protour-sora-item169012.html been looking at purchasing the carrera tdf on offer at halfords through my companies c2w scheme but like the look af the ventura but can't seem to find many reviews, any help is gratefully received.

I dont know much of the ventura - i havent seen any on the road even!

But I do have a carrera TDF and I am very happy with it. Halfords service is as you would expect, can be good if you catch the right person, or poor if not.

I had to setup the gears/brakes myself as their setup was poor. but since then it has been a very able ride. Just completed a 180 mile ride with no problems whatsover on it - gear changes were as slick as when i set it up. In total I have done around 400 miles on it now

Yeah I know about halfords, I all ready have a mtb from them and have learnt from experience which shop to take it 2
