Hi there. I'm new here. Sorry for any typing errors as I'm on my iPhone. Anywho I have always just loved cycling for fun but last year I got quite ill and I've gone several stone underweight. I'm just starting to gain a little back now through eating but I'd love to cycle again. From your experience would this be advisable? I was planning to start slow for short gentle durations. Also is there any particular method to gaining weight or muscle through riding? Thanks

but my self I lost over 2 stones in less than a few weeks (got struck with Pacreatitis and fell to nearly 9stone, I'm 5 ft 9 in) and felt horribly weak. Got some horrible milk shake like things from the doc and built myself up to 9 & 1/2. Now cycling I float between 9 & 1/2 and 9st 10lb and my body feels good (well it did till I came off my bike yesterday
). Good Luck, in the end cycling will make you feel good and more healthier IMO but speak to your doctor first.
