Sounds like you're just on the flipside of where we where, our equipment at this house was around 9 years old and Sky didn't want to know. We could have cancelled it in my name then taken it out in SWMBO's name, but why? So feck 'em, went to Virgin, (granted it's a mates rate deal), but changed the lot, TV, BB & phone and got a whole lot more for a little bit less, happy days.

when we were with sky i was paying for UP TO 8 mg of internet speed - when i phoned in to complain i was only getting 0.2 mg , the delightfully helpful indian lady told me i would get better speed between 1am and 4am and thats all they could do - o how i danced with joy ! i moved to virgin ,paid for 10 mg got 9.5 mg then they upped it to 19mg and ive just phoned up to change package and its going up to 50mg for less money with a tivo box . i am happy with them at the minute
