Virgin or something slightly more (or less)

I may be one of natures innocents but l was under the impression ( mistaken as maybe) that there are no degrees of "virginity" ! So how can there be Extra Virgin olive oil ? And if there can be, what characteristics define the "extra" part of virginity , or perhaps it is not extra but lesser. :whistle:
 
I think it is the first " cold " press. of an individual batch of Olives.
