I must have started the ride if its taken me through all the turns?
Nope, you can navigate without recording a ride as I said above

Click on the history tag ,that's where rides are storedI can't see 3 dots. Only share options. Nothing to say manual upload. Am I doing something wrong?

No, it isn't. That is a route, not a [recording of] a ride. The label at the top of the page says routes.Yes. This is the ride that didn't upload
It then looks like you didn't record it , all rides you do with the head unit go into the history section . I have never had a ride not go into the history section .The history tag only gives me the ride that wasn't preloaded; the one that uploaded to Strava

Put it down to experience and remember to double check to press start
Ok thanks. I'm going to create a test route and see if I can record it this time.
Thanks everyone so far for your help
I only have one out front mount but more than one bike! Can anyone recommend where I can get some more mounts not too expensive?
Are the starred routes built via Strava ? , starring a route on the Strava website is just a way of sending it too your head unit . If that's the case it will not cause any issues using the routeThanks everyone for your replies. Very helpful.
Why do some routes on my head unit have a gold star beside them and other routes don't and does this mean anything? Would it cause any problems in following the route when cycling and uploading to Strava post cycle?
