No, it isn't. That is a route, not a [recording of] a ride. The label at the top of the page says routes.

As Ming suggested, you have followed a route - meaning a *planned* route that you've loaded onto the head unit - but you have not pressed 'Start ride', which you have to do to actually record yourself following that planned route.

Planned Routes and Recorded Rides are independent of each other. You can follow a Planned Route without recording the ride, and you can record the ride without following a planned route; or you can do both, but you have to select each independently.

It then looks like you didn't record it , all rides you do with the head unit go into the history section . I have never had a ride not go into the history section .
Put it down to experience and remember to double check to press start

Just been out there and I recorded a test ride and it recorded and pulled through to Strava. Thanks everyone

All I need to know now is how do I delete routes from my Wahoo? - scrub that - I've figured it out. I have to delete them at source i.e. where they were created. Thanks everyone

Delete the route on the app you created it rwgps etc ,when the unit next syncs to the internet the route will be deleted

Just one last question - will all the routes that have been downloaded to the Wahoo Elemnt App show up on the head unit?

They will once the head unit has synched, either by it being on whilst connected to the phone running the Elemnt App, or by the head unit connecting to a WiFi network whose credentials it knows.

You can check by going to the Routes page on the head unit and scrolling down to the list of routes. If things aren't there, highlight the line where it says 'last synched' and press the middle button to force it to synch (this shouldn't be necessary if it's connected to WiFi or the Element App, but it'll hurry it along if it's not got round to synching since being powered on).

I would always buy something like this direct from the brand, in this case Wahoo. This way you know it will fit. You'll pay Wahoo £15-20 or get a cheapo knock off for £12-15 on the web.
