That is plain insane. The boredom threshold is a lot higher with a sphere of death. I was transfixed when I first saw one at Le Mans twenty years ago.

Isn't there a '4+24', as there is for Channel 5?guess which plum forgot to Tivo it , and is proper annoyed that the Tivo didn't pick it up. oh well 4 OD here we come for this evening
Interesting viewing, & I think, the first revealing (outside of the 'in the know', or attendees of motor-cycle races, of the present 'Mrs Martin', even though she's mentioned a lot in the 'When You Dead, You Dead' book)
When the bike record was mentioned before the commercial break, hands up, who else thought it might have been Laura Trott?

It was interesting about the G forces, I had never considered that as being a limlting factor.
Guy is a great character who shows an interest in engineering and all things mechanical and I have enjoyed watching all of his programmes.
I agree. I would have preferred a separate"making of the event" documentary and then a live broadcast of the event only without all the useless asking and re-asking of the same questions, to fill and adapt to the live schedule. Plus the ludicrous cutting of a third attempt, just because the adverts were due...was shameful...he had 80mph in him.An enjoyable and interesting program, but it went on to long with to much padding, it would have been better if they'd kept it down to an hour.
