more specifically the strap, basically I have a canvass/materiel of some sort strapped watch that I wear a lot espesh when working/cycling and the strap smells a bit sweaty which is a bit gross, the watch is waterproof but wearing it in the shower just made it smell more.

Any thoughts?

A nail brush and some soap works for me.

I used to have a Gshock with a canvas strap. to stop it honking I used to use some soap on it in the shower once a week. then leave it to hang and dry. putting it on your wrist wet means it won't dry fully and the damp is what the bacteria love to breed in and thats what smells is the bacteria.

Aha, the only other times I've tried I've left it near the rayburn to dry so it will keep warm and they'll grow like hell, will dunk it in some water with washing stuff and then lay it out for a few days to dry.
