Water Bottle Cages ...

... Having recently purchased 2 new 1 ltr aluminium water bottles (well they were on offer, and I did need new water bottles.)

I got home to find that the 1ltr bottles did not fit my standard water bottle cages.

Does any one know a source of cages that will take 1 ltr size water bottles?

Standard water bottle size is .75 ltr, which has a base diameter of approx 73mm. 1 ltr bottles have a base diameter of approx 80mm, not much difference to us fellas I know But to water bottle carriers it means a lot.


As an after thought I guess women are like water bottle cages, size does matter after all

If you look in the touring section, the 'How Much Water' thread on page 3 has a nice link to a bottle cage that can carry up to 2 litres. I read this and it rung a bell that I had seen something similar yesterday
