Waterproof(ish) non-SPD Shoes - Any Ideas?

Just using regular trainers on the flat pedal bikes at the moment but could do with a waterproof/resistant, stiff-ish soled, casual shoe/trainer.

Any recommendation gratefully received.

you can get a number of different gortex lined trainers or hiking shoes. A lot of the nordic walking shoes have this lining. an example:
