I tend to spend money on bike stuff that helps me actually ride it and not look at it! At the very least get yourself a turbo for those days when you can't GET OUT ON THE ROAD!
Not to put a downer on it but won't this be like a showroom for thieves?
I would echo the same, even if in the middle of no-where. Blinds to hide the bikes, also to reduce solar gain in summer !
I've even had attempted break-ins on my very secure garage, a conservatory is a piece of cake.
You don't need blinds or curtains; DIY places sell sticky vinyl that makes the glass look like acid etched glass. We have it on the garage windows and you can't see in but it lets light in.

Yes.....Children and wives don't like bikes in houses!! Mine is in the garage!Bikes in the house, oh I remember those days, before pesky children needed somewhere to sleep.
I have a garage now though, that's got a tube heater and dehumidifier. Keeps the bikes dry.

Okay so the bikes are currently living in the conservatory which also houses a knackered old sofa and some other bits and bobs. The bikes are currently leaning against each other. We don't really use the conservatory to sit in so I am taking the executive decision to get rid of the scabby old sofa and turn it into a bike room. Being a conservatory there is no where to hang the bikes so I was thinking of a floor based rack to stand them in. I am very excited about having a dedicated bike room. What else do I need??
