Would love to have a turbo trainer wouldn't know what sort to get!!I know how you feel, I just want the weather to improve so I can get out more, I'm using the turbo trainer at the moment!
I very rarely drive, but having had a soaking in a biblical storm this afternoon, and then freezing to death as I sat soaked in my dr's waiting room for 45 minutes, I've decided to drive to my bike maintenance class this evening.

Yes do it. I've been riding for 15 years and never even grasped the basics. OH has tried to show me a few bits, but it can get a bit fraught when OH's try to teach other.I really must get round to doing a bike maintenance course like you![]()
What is that turbo trainer like, im looking for one but im not paying mega money, I cam across it on ebay the other day.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-2014-...K_SportGoods_CyclAcces_RL&hash=item485efa2430
I bought this one, most people on here will call it crap, but after an hour training my base layer (working out in a unheated garage) is soaked so I'm really doing a good workout and it is a lot better than looking at the rain through the window wishing I could go out

This sounds like something I should attend, IIRC you are also in Sheffield, aren't you?
