Well found it impossible to ride today with the extreme wind and rain.So decided on having a swim bad choice as loads of people had the same idea.So the Pool was packed which made it wavy, and I like drinking water but not with chlorine!!!!.

I know how you feel, I just want the weather to improve so I can get out more, I'm using the turbo trainer at the moment!

I very rarely drive, but having had a soaking in a biblical storm this afternoon, and then freezing to death as I sat soaked in my dr's waiting room for 45 minutes, I've decided to drive to my bike maintenance class this evening.

Yes do it. I've been riding for 15 years and never even grasped the basics. OH has tried to show me a few bits, but it can get a bit fraught when OH's try to teach other.

Tonight was taking the wheelon and off and repairing punctures, so simple and straight forward. Thinking of doing the advanced course when I've finished the basic course.

I was out on the bike early doors today but the weather had taken a decidedly downward dip since then.
I'm going to dig out the waterproof and sealskinz then go for a bit of a run this evening. I must burn some calories in advance of the ones I'll be taking on board via my Friday night alcohol consumption.

I bought this one, most people on here will call it crap, but after an hour training my base layer (working out in a unheated garage) is soaked so I'm really doing a good workout and it is a lot better than looking at the rain through the window wishing I could go out
What is that turbo trainer like, im looking for one but im not paying mega money, I cam across it on ebay the other day.

This sounds like something I should attend, IIRC you are also in Sheffield, aren't you?
