. I'd noticed in myself recently a trend of eating too much potato chips, chocolate and pastries, and after weighing myself Sunday before last, just before dinner, found that my weight was 4kg over the usual. So I got rid of any remaining bad snacks, and replaced them with healthier ones, and made an effort to reduce the portions also. Sometimes that's difficult, as a long, hilly ride home can give me post-dinner munchies, but I think it was more habit than real need. I weighed myself again on Friday before dinner, and I'd lost 3kg. So continuing the daily 60km commute, plus less bad snack foods, made the difference
