I’ve put 3 kgs on since my last post on this thread, that’s two holidays for you.

Saw my GP today as a follow up to having had a phone appointment with the chemical pathologist a month ago.

The result of today is Reducing the Mounjaro dose from 10 to 7.5 and stopping Amlopidene as my BP is low enough.

Since getting a power meter for my bike which has halved the calories I use compared to what my heart rate monitor recorded. I seem to have gained 4 or 5 lbs.😳

I'm another who has rapidly put back on the weight I lost over the summer, back up to ~95Kg now. Less riding, more eating due to SAD carb cravings kicking in, couple of lurgies.

Hoping once I start a Zwift sub soon I'll start riding more, really struggling to manage regular ~45min+ rides on MyWhoosh, since autumn suddenly arrived as regards Hampshire weather and now it's sunset at ~1645 or earlier going forward for almost the next two months.

"Apparently" getting hold of Retatrutide is the way forward or so I've heard.

It works differently to Maunjaro as it includes more receptors and helps reduce muscle loss as part of the process. This is probably good for cyclists and people who use a gym 2-3 times per week.

Apparently.

The amount of people I've heard are on this is crazy for an unlicensed drug, why would you pay some dealer for what could be anything???

I have got a little too comfortable at being around 80 to 82 kg (12-8 to12-13).

That doesn't really sound terribly high for someone who is 1.86 m (6'1") tall, but I am a bit scrawny, 'skinny fat'.

I have quite a bit of weight concentrated in visceral fat, what would be called a beer belly if I still drank booze.

I need to make an effort over the winter to shed about another 7 kg and/or gain that in muscle. Ideally, around half of each?

Do what I've been doing: cut down on the carbs - particularly pasta rice bread & spuds, and fill up on protein and veg / salad.

Avoid sugary stuff, avoid ultra processed stuff.

Don't snack, or if you must, have handful of nuts.
