There was post on Facebook being shared about how to prevent a hidden phone from alerting.

My phone was bluetoothing radio to my Bluetooth speaker so the alert was basically an odd advert break.

The ‘smart’ phone had the alert turned off, the ‘dumb’ phone sulked. Win-win.

I was out on a ride at the time. My jersey pocket started to buzz. I reached in and pressed the screen. It stopped buzzing. Not sure what the fuss was all about really.

Nah, you can specifically disabke alerts.

Yep, mine are turned off ready for it.

Luckily I had, just a few minutes before, returned home on my motorbike, otherwise it may have been something of a startle.

Same, did it when the first one was tested. Don't know if mine did go off as I'd left it in the car.

The music went off and was met by that horrible shrieking noise bellowing out of the speakers.
I almost jumped out of the car wondering what the hell it was (I forgot all about it)

I have found out what the alert will say should any of the Worlds Leaders/Grifters/Ne'er do Wells hit the big red button, it reads
1-Paint yourself white, both emulsion or whitewash will suffice.
2-hide under a table/hedge/garden wall.
3- stick your head between your legs & kiss your backside goodbye
4- Await a large bright flash

You can't disable these ones. Or at least I thought you weren't supposed to be able to.
