Both of ours went off

We had warned the 2 grand kids before hand as one is autistic and we didn;t want him to worry

when it went off he sort of looked worried but was OK when we said that was the thing we had told him about

if all the phones in the park had gone off at the same time he might have needed some sort of comforting or something

the little one was totally unbothered


as said above - I can;t see why you would want to switch off an emergency alert
but then some people do things that puzzle me in many cases
so it is up to them

Camped there once years ago, I don't think they take tents anymore though.

Mainly residential mobiles & holiday caravans. Not sure I've seen a tent there in years!

Yeah the pitches all said 'No Ground Tents' when I looked, maybe a floating tent (a boat tent?) would be allowed lol.

The alert is triggered from the phone masts. If you’re not connected to a UK phone mast you wouldn't get the alert.
