I'm not a fan but the headline in the Guardian yesterday and the subsequent story was not about the racving but about how much more money he can command now.
Sadly a reflection on most sports these days when footballers get angry when they're only offered £55K pw and Fredddie Flintoff can earn £1m for playing badly in three 20/20 matches in India.

I must admit I have never really rated Jenson but he drove a good season, made good use of having the best car while he had it in the early part, kept his head and didn't throw it away when others overtook Brawn as the best team so well deserved. Yes, he probably had some luck on his side but find me a champion in any sport who hasn't.

That's right!

I remember Michael Cheatmaker unluckily 'crashing' out of a race but luckily taking Damon Hill out at the same time, thus depriving him (Hill) of the championship, and him (Cheatmaker) winning!

And funnily enough, the same thing happened with Cheatmaker a few years later, this time with Jacques Villeneuve as the villain, although 'luck' wasn't on Cheatmaker's side this time, and Villeneuve won.
