you learn something new every day. Today I have learnt you can estimate the length of an aligator at night by measuring the distance between its eyes. This may come in handy one day.

Two absolutely outstanding ones for me are the black and white hare, and the Docklands gull. Perhaps its the geometry in both shots, but the hare is as evocative as it is stark, and the gull picture is just so indicative of how man made geometry can be turned inside out by the simplest of nature's forces.

The squirrel and tiger ones arejust look too formal or staged for my liking. The hare one is my fav too..
The Beeb have run a similar article but with a few different pictures. I like the "is it a bird, is it a plane?" one.

The tiger one is extraordinary when you consider it was taken with an auto-trap camera.
I wonder how many shots he had of the retreating behind of a deer/rat/bird.
