Hi all!

Just got back from my snowshoe hike this afternoon, thought I'd some of the photos (normally, I'd post them in the Photography thread, but there's quite a few!

It was a glorious day, no wind, not very cold. Perfect snow for it too - tightly packed, with a layer of snow on top. Perfect. Anyway, pictures speak a thousand words. So...

BTW, Mods: Feel free to move this if it belongs in Photography. Cheers!

Lovely. Proper snow that's nice to walk in.

Better on touring skis; at least you can whizz down the hills.
just love getting out in the snow, sometimes the best time to do it is at night with a full moon, we have plenty snow up in the hills at the mo, and the moon is nearly full, so weather permitting should get out this week. I have some "Australian Snow Shoes" yes seriously, designed and made in Aus!
It snows there?
