Went snowshoeing and did not get lost! (Image Heavy)

Hi all!

Just got back from my snowshoe hike this afternoon, thought I'd some of the photos (normally, I'd post them in the Photography thread, but there's quite a few!

It was a glorious day, no wind, not very cold. Perfect snow for it too - tightly packed, with a layer of snow on top. Perfect. Anyway, pictures speak a thousand words. So...

I tried skiing once! It was for an Outdoor Pursuits class I took in school, I could barely stand on the skis, never mind maneouvre and/or ski down a hill!
