I've just heard the news that Calmac have announced 24hrs industrial action on the 26th June and there may be no sailings. As this is the day before these events and (I'm assuming) the day most people would plan to travel to the island, this will have a big impact on the events if it goes ahead.

30 out of 35 (300km) and 12 out of 27 (110km) entries are from mainland riders.

Fingers crossed the dispute is resolved! Worst case scenario for me - 10:30 ferry on Saturday and I'll be picking your brains for a DIY200.

Given how gubbed I am after yesterday's Trossachs Ton it's clear that I've not recovered nearly enough from my France trip - the ferry issues just made the decision to withdraw easier
@wicker man I've sent you an email with the above.

Thanks again and good luck to everyone taking part!

Regrettably, I too have pulled out. UnfortunateIy it just isn't viable. I wouldn't get there until Sat afternoon, leaving again on Sunday. A 100mi in daylight would be a push. I hope to be there next year. It's a real shame for Ian and everyone who couldn't make it.
