I once almost got on the bus in my slippers but in my defence I live in Birkies and my house shoes are very similar. I often have to check that I have the right ones on when I'm out.

I did try licking it up but I got splinters of glass in my tongue

I jumped into the car once and drove into London ...... with my slippers on. Had to buy some shoes before meeting customers!

My mother in law once chased a scrote who was trying to get no plates off car whilst in her dressing gown!! Needless to say after several strides it untied and everything fell out!! Still take the mick out of her 15yrs later!! Think it scared the lad off.

When I used to motorycle I had just set off from home and thought the engine sounded louder than usual, I then realised I had forgotten to put my crash helmet on

I set off walking to work one snowy morning and thought about how the snow getting in my eyes was a bit annoying.I had not put my specs on.

Once got through half a day at school worrying I was going blind before realising I had my contact lenses in AND my glasses on!
