If I repeatedly listen to an album when I first buy it, then I'll come back to it time and again for ever. Sol Invictus is definitely one of those, and not just because FNM are my absolute favourite band.

also available in orange
Game changers for me over the years include:

De La Soul - 3 feet high & rising
Public Enemy - It takes a nation of millions to hold us back
Eric B & Rakim - Paid in full
808 state - 90
All Aphex Twin albums until Drukqs
Portishead - Dummy
Artificial Intelligence vol. 1 (and subsequent spin off albums)
Boards of Canada - Music has the right to children
Wu Tang Clan - Enter the 36 chambers
Orbital - Brown LP
Reload - A collection of short stories
Global Communication - 76:14

Nothing has for me, posted a big sign up saying 'this way!' for some time unfortunately.

I hear something new every time I listen to it. I'm still finding new things in Angel Dust and Mr Bungle (not FNM but related) too though.

I just got "Found Songs" yesterday - I had "Living Room Songs" a few months ago - Absolutey superb, I only wish they were not so short !
If you haven't yet, I recommend a visit to the Erased Tapes website. There are some other very interesting artists there, Nils Frahm and A Winged Victory for the Sullen are particularly special.

Def Leppard. Didn't their drummers arm fall off?

By good I take it you mean every track is GOOD. IMO these albums fall into that category.

Liege and Leaf - Fairport Convention
Rumours - Fleetwood Mac
Breakfast in America - Supertramp
Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd
Welcome to the Pleasure Dome - Frankie Goes to Hollywood

Motorhead - Bomber. Turned me into the raging headbanger that I am.
Judas Priest - British Steel. Reconfirmed that Heavy Metal music was the best music ever.
Husker Du - New Day Rising. Confirmed that Heavy metal music wasn't the best music ever.
Faith No More - The Real Thing. Reconfirmed that Heavy Metal music wasn't the best music ever.
Slayer - Reign In Blood. Reconfirmed again that Heavy Metal was the best music ever.
Metallica - Ride The Lightning. Absolutely reconfirmed that Heavy Metal was the best music ever
Sick Of It All - Just Look Around. I never knew such anger and angst could be put to music and resonate so much with me.
Therapy? - Troublegum. This just hit me like a hammer to the head. One of the greatest albums ever recorded imvho. My go to album if I am undecided as to what to play.
Sepultura - Roots Bloody Roots - Simply brutal, simply brilliant.
Tool - Aenima. One of the most complex pieces of Rock music that you would ever hear.

I could go on... but you'd get bored.

ps @andyfraser
Agree about the Ghost album. It's way better then their first two efforts. they seem to have now found their niche, and it's a bloody good one. The track Cirice is simply brilliant.
