Took the house off the market what with uncertainty i dont want to take more borrowing to move if the banks would even lend it to me , apart from that gardening , clean the oven etc and solo bike rides.
Mini ck 1 has been told not to go to school before the closures were announced due to his kidney condition , he was upset.... not !

Holiday this year , park is allowing people to move to next year but im not sure what to do ? cancel and get money back , carry on or move it?
Wait and see? Cancel at the last minute?

I think there is a world of difference between supporting a vulnerable relative and going to crowded bars etc in the middle of London.

Thanks for the vote of support, which I know you wouldn't give if it wasn't a genuine reflection of your thinking.

I suppose I am beating myself up unnecessarily.

Here in France we are under strict conditions on movement. I have a huge to do list so boredom will not be a problem. For the moment we can exercise outside alone. I have a 10k route that is within my commune so will do that 2 or 3 times a day to keep everything ticking over.

Similar here, still at least I've got the QUAD (Hifi)

Sorry to hear you are also having an extended stay in the pits.

Without trying to divert the thread too much, it's the waste of time which is as annoying as anything.

The last few months of my life have effectively been wasted by being ill.

All the more annoying because when 60 is a lot closer than 50 you haven't got so many months (alright, years) left to waste.

Those put into lock down - if the period is a long one - may come to feel the same.

I haven't got any virus symptoms - and in any case I don't go round sneezing and coughing all over other people, so no-one is going to be catching it from me anyway.

I am a part of society, which is why I intend to continue to go out and socialise as normal. If you want to lock yourself away for a few weeks or months, go ahead and enjoy. Just don't expect me to do it because it ain't gonna happen. Everyone I socialise with is of exactly the same mindset - none of us are going to stop our usual routines and sit indoors. The pensioners I know are actually the most indignant out of us all at any suggestion they should isolate themselves.

...and that's why the mortality rate is so much higher in countries where people think they know better than the scientists and authorities. Just because you hang around with selfish and irresponsible people, doesn't make your behaviour acceptable.

Well, honestly, if i knew i was responsible for just 1 transmission and possible death to an elderly or ill person including you John because of my irresponsible actions, my life would be over. But as you would be unlikely to know that, it would suit your ignorance quite well, hence you go off buggering about with others. You may not cough or sneeze on people, but that's absolutely besides the point, you breathe, you transmit. Simple...

He probably will ignore the responses.Just as people are ignoring advice not too raid the supermarket for more than they need.I suppose at my age I could be called an ancient Britain.

My parents always taught me to respect others and help other’s We see on hear comments like snowflake
Something wrong with those of us who havnt been riding in the recent wet and windy weather. These comments are being made about people that don’t know

Generally I have found subscribers on CC supportive and helpful An attitude of F you jack seems to be an attitude that seems to becoming more prevalent..
This will possibly be my last post as a minority feel they can make comments about members they have no knowledge of there circumstances

Dick and Jane BOTH 👥 show early 🤢symptoms. Jane STAYS HOME🏡, gets tested 🧫 and awaits her results 🛀🏻. Dick goes🤵🏻 to work 🚘, stops for a quick drink 🍻 at the local bar, pops by his parents🧓🏻👵🏼 house, hits the gym🏋🏻, begins to feel worse🤒 (eh, but even if he does 🤧 have it, he's healthy💪🏼, so he'll recover quickly⏰). Dick finally decides to get tested 🧪. Both Dick and Jane get 🦠 positive test results. Jane0p 😷 infects no one🚪 once she 🙌started to show symptoms. Dick potentially 🏟infects dozens, if not hundreds 🧨, by his SELFISH 🗣 behavior. Be like Jane👍. Don't be a Dick 🙄.

We took a phone call from my sil yesterday. To talk about caring for her and Mrs P's elderly parents. If we cannot totally isolate, and we can't.We need to shop,a long weekend away to Threshfield in the Dales has been cancelled.Coffee morning also cancelled.Trying not to mix as much as possible.SIL has taken over care duties, gardening and diy stopped.SIL is single and is self isolating, elderly parents are 83 and 89 and a bit frail. So for me reading gardening walks and cycling soon .Mrs P has cancelled a weekend away in Wales,e are trying to do our bit,but cannot totally stay locked in.
