As far as editing is concerned, there's a real satisfaction in finding the right word or phrase to illustrate a concept, isn't there? It's weirdly addictive in a way...
I've been trying to double down on my editing skills. In fact, I try to get it Right The First Time if I can help it. I feel like Grammarly is helping me but writing still needs that human touch.
I used to be bad at grammar. I slack on forums and text messaging but try to get a little bit more serious with my writing, since most of the time, it results in a payment

Guess I was very fortunate in having excellent English teachers in prep school, and we were pulled up on grammar and spelling in other subjects too. I guess that sort of thing stays with you...
Also, English is only my third language, btw.

I like building Lego models, doing word puzzles and baking. I’m also into amateur radio. I’ve passed my Foundation License. I’ll be studying for the Intermediate License soon.
My cycling doesn’t cost too much, as I have old bikes. I just replace worn out parts as needed. I build wheels and do my own maintenance.
Just as well, really. There aren’t any bike shops where I live.

Very very much at the novice level but I've met a lovely few people who are infinitely more skilled and theyre happy to advise, share etc etc.
It's not just the photographing, half the pleasure is in the hunt, the getting out, and like golf...you remember that one good shot in a load of mediocre ones..

My campervan, my Volvo C70, my labradors, playing music (I play bass, mandolin, mandola, octave mandolin, Irish bouzouki, balalaka, double bass/EUB, balalaika, and a little bit of guitar).
I am deeply deeply impressed. It's the first wish I would make if I found the genie's magic lamp. I love watching the YouTube videos where a musician takes you through a piece of music / recording and explains the structure and what's happening. Watched a great one on the theory of music where the guy segued from Mozart to the Beatles demonstrating how similar the underlying structures were 😎
