Vapin' Joe

Seen the Stones and the Kinks a couple of times.
Missed the Beatles as I was only 11 years old when they did their last live concert.
I've only ever known one person who saw the Beatles live, a mate's wife. I think the last one was '65 or '66?

Wish I'd got chance to see Pink Floyd. Nearest has been Aussie Floyd, who do them proud. Glad I saw Bowie at Glastonbury 2000...what a great gig. Massive crowd, lovely warm summer evening, the gentle whiff of marijuana drifting over the audience while he belted out the hits...:music:.. took ages to find my tent afterwards.

I saw them at Hammersmith Odeon around 1965. I was ridiculously young but my best friend's big sister (who I fancied rotten) had managed to get the tickets. You couldn't hear a single note they played due to the hysterical screaming.

The support act was The Yardbirds.

Can't really count Jimi as I was -3 at the time of his death.
Led Zeppelin- Had a second chance offer to buy a ticket in the ballot but this was after it had been rescheduled to December after Jimmy Page's injury. I wouldn't throw a sickie (never have, for anything). And Mr Plant has said no to any more shows. Git.
Still waiting to see Meat Beat Manifesto having been a fan for 25 years…that's about the only act I haven't seen that I'd really, really want to.

I've seen everyone I've ever wanted to see that was available for me to see at the time.

Now I don't want to go to gigs or shows, I really can't be arsed with hassle of getting to them.

je n'ai pas de regrets
