The Shelters of Stone, by Jean M Auel. It's the fifth in a series, a paleolithic saga. My boss started reading them and recommended them, and is lending them to me. The trouble is, he's very dyslexic, and reads very slowly, and I read very fast. So there's been a bit of a backlog for me to get this one, and I'm half way through it, while he's only on chapter 4 of the next one...

I have a Kobo reader and i cannot find these on the Kobo site - i'm looking for the frist one the winter king, is it known by any other name ?

Still working my way through the "Master & Commander" books. Up to "The Ionian Mission" at the moment. Aubrey is commanding the 74 gun ship HMS Worcester, has had some interesting gunnery practice on the way to the Med thanks to having bought the stock of a fireworks maker and has just reported to the Admiral and been bitten by the Admiral's dog.

I like these books - they aren't dry reading like some.
