Well, I have to admit I am absolutely no more enlightened than when I first asked:rolleyes: Im with Arch on the cold=more calories hot=water loss theory as it just sounds plausible, but then again I dont really know:wacko:
Maybe Im just trying to find a way to justify eating too much chocolate :becool:

She-it girlfriend, you don't need no justification to eat chocolate!

Besides, that's one of those contradictions that is; no such thing as "too much chocolate"!

I'm sure that there was some research somewhere that showed how many calories (yes, calories, not pounds) were lost during sweating.

I always advocate the wearing less approach. The biggest consumers of electricity in your house are the heating things, rather than the going around things, hence by implication, standing around in the cold uses more calories than running around in the warm.
