This was one of my previous Landies
I went from a 2A Light-Weight, which was absolutely atrocious, & would have put anyone sensible off Landies for life

However, I had no sense & went to a 3year old 110Tdi Hard-Top afterwards.
In comparison to the 2 & 1/4 petrol in the 2A, the 300Tdi was a veritable rocketship^_^

To this day, the salesman driving out of the garage amazed me with its acceleration & ability to hold speed on a hill
He drove it up the 'Autobahn', the road from Elland up to the M62 (jct 24) at Ainley Top. Pre speed-cameras
Entering the tunnel under the M62, it was still touching 70!!!!

Then he let me drive back, via Elland

Needless to say...."Sold!!"

Pics = Scaley-Gate Lane, near Jackson Bridge
Pendine Sands (when you could still drive on there)....we did... however find a patch of very soft sand with the tide almost in:unsure:
Thankfully a few minutes (seemed a LOT longer) rocking in low-range & centre diff-lock engaged got it out

Then, in early 2001, I px'd it for a Discovery 50th Anniversary (wife choice)

A Skoda Felicia Estate bought cheap off Ebay 3 years ago and still going strong. We wanted the estate for carting around all our camping gear when we go on holiday. Although I like backpacking, wild camping and the such like my wife likes comfort camping. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
I'd have a Felicia as a runabout, if I could find a diesel around here, be it hatch - estate

I am very privileged to own and drive that much sought after Italian supercar..................the FIAT PUNTO....

Land Rover Discovery 1 300tdi and Mitsubishi Colt 1.1.

Disco for off-roading and Colt for town running.

Considering cahnging Disco for a Citroen Berlingo (to take the Nazca inside ) and either changing or disposing of the Colt - fallen 'out of love' with it and really don't like the thick A pillars - almost caused me to run down a cyclist  at a roundabout, because they were exactly in the blind spot as I approached the rab. <shivers>

I have a 300 with the R380 gearbox I believe, anyway when I had my volvo I found myself stalking Defenders on the A3 so I thought I better get another one. A nice metallic rioja red.
I done a chassis up rebuild of a series 2a. Seriously regret selling it, especially when I occasionally see it still being usde
I used to run a 1977 109 Safari Station Wagon 2.25L petrol (no overdrive). It was great and awful all in one go. I had it when I was 17, and I am lucky enough now to run the car I dreamed of back then ... a Range Rover. This one is a 2002/3 TD6 SE. It's awesome. Looking for a 2009/10 Vogue SE.

I want another one!!!
2 years without one is a LONG time

Okay, failing that;
1. A (proper)Range Rover, either a nice early 2-door, with vinyl seats, or a very late 300Tdi/manual 'soft-dash'
2. A 101FC (have seen a couple of coil-sprung examples, with Tdi's & R380 boxes (using 110, or 130, axles)

FCs are rocking horse shoot rare.
