I definitely was some olive drab as well as khaki in Shaun's version. Maybe it's a military experiment. Or maybe it's just not real, in the same way that the Easter bunny's just a guy in a suit...

I remember Jack Hargreaves doing this on HOW in the 60's on B& W telly, and could see red and green.

Green and magenta is a well known optical illusion, I have pictures of a graveyard somewhere that have a distinctly pinkish tinge to them.

As for the original post, well, at first, I saw nothing much other than the black and white, but then I stared seeing green, magenta and blue.
I don't know if I was imagining that as I have a good idea of the colours I could see though, just as I can understand the whole grey/yellow/kakhi thing....... Its just that I don't see it and I know I don't see it as I actually have to think about it before I 'get it'.
