what did you learn today?

Yesterday I learned that the child who tries to boss everyone around and in some cases, actually push other kids about, is the one who cries the loudest when he ends up on the bottom of the pile.

I also learned that once you've established that the aforementioned crying child is not, in fact, mortally wounded, it's impossible to stop yourself grinning.

I was sitting on the trampoline with a little girl who's disabled, gently bouncing and enjoying the sunshine when the mob of 6 and 7 year olds joined in. My pal thought it was great fun. Me, not so much especially when bossy boy shouted "let's all jump on Jo!" Happily this was just before he got squished, though I think the lesson was lost on him...
