Had a Fullers Vintage ale gathering dust and decided to knock the top off it last night - yumtus, very nice indeed.

Also got a case of Thomas Hardy's tucked away - should be coming into it's own in another 5 years or so. Had an older year but once I'd tasted that one and it was ready it soon vanished!

I drank my ten year old Fullers' Vintage Ale last year, side by side with a new bottle of the same stuff. As you say, very good indeed - I just wish I'd bought a few more. I have about four Thomas Hardy ales, all from the mid - 1990s. I'm trying to keep hold of them, but it's hard work! The rest of my collection is probably undrinkable, sadly.

I quite like old film cameras but only have about 12 so far

I'd like to get one of those old cameras that took roll film and did 6x7 negs just for B & W stuff. I think Zeiss used to make them.

Like others I can't throw away computer/car/electrical bits that "might come in useful one day".

And as a teenager I collected aircraft registrations but gave up with a pretty poor score of around 2000.

Magazines of one sort or another. I used to collect The Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Aircraft when I was a teenager. For years I used to collect 2000AD, and until this year, Cycling Plus.

First off was stamps, followed by speedway programmes from various venues throughout UK. I used to live near to Newcastle Diamonds as a lad.

Lastly was a collection of Page 3 girls torn from my Dads paper and stashed under my bed for safe keeping. Until of course one day I came home from school to find my Mum had been on a spring clean and found my hoard (including my speedway programmes).
Nothing was ever mentioned and I was too embarrassed to ask where my "speedway mags" were.
Damn, Samantha Fox was my all time favourite, most upset.
