Riding back home tonight up from plumstead to welling. Got off at hill with awful roundabout.
Could hear raised voices. Asian man shouting at women directly into her face. Guy looked shady.
I watched them walking up the road he then proceeded to grab her by the hear threatening to hit her.
To be honest given the area I didnt know weather to stick my nose in and risk being knifed.
I feel guilty for not doing anything though. I did see if there were any police about as usual none could be found.
Five minutes later idiot in car chucked coin out the window at me. Karma always comes back to bite you in arse.

dodgy situation matey, feel guilty for not stepping in but then I've done just that and suddenly had both at me.

Interfering in a domestic - even with the best of intentions - is a no win situation.

I've seen a couple in which the person interfering is turned on by both the husband and the wife.

And in her finest Swiss finishing school accent the woman screams, " Leave 'im alone yooz bastids, eeez me werld"

Yup, seen it to.

Report it. Any number of posts suggesting she's as bad as he is like the anecdotes above pander to stereotype and lead to an acceptance of domestic violence. Report it. The only people who criticize you for doing so are morons.

If it was just the threat, I'd observe in case the situation escalated, if it escalated then I'd have to get involved. With no phone and nobody else around, I couldn't justify not doing so,

I had the same thing happen when I slapped a guy for punching the hell out of a woman in a shop doorway, luckily there were many witnesses around.
