My hubby started cycling just to go from A - B, really he did. He did his first event a month ago and cycled 60 miles followed by another 5.5 miles back home again. You will be astonished at how addictive cycling is.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I've heard a lot about how far I'm going to be cycling, but I need to get my feet on the ground (or pedals, I suppose) in York before I think about more than A to B. It's one thing cycling about your home town where nothing takes you by surprise, and quite another being somewhere completely unfamiliar!
