Im sure when i was 27 stone...

I'm 15 stone and looking to get to 13. Road cycling is strengthening my legs, improving my cardio, helping me to lose weight and enjoy my life more. Thin, lightweight road bikes just make cycling a tad easier.

Retired, so no longer commute. Use the bike for one of the few forms of exercise that also happens to be enjoyable. Also, starting to use the bike for shopping.

My bike has a kick stand, very underrated bit of kit. Probably not seen as cool, or concerns with adding extra weight but frankly it’s me that needs to lose the weight, not the bike.

Just got a bike with a centre stand, and can’t believe how convenient a feature it is. Will be adding a stand to my all-weather road/touring bike
