He's good mates with Jeremy Corbyn.
The books are far, far, far superior to the films plus there’s six of them! By Sergei Lukyanenko.
Is that supposed to be some kind of endorsement? He's good mates with Jeremy Corbyn.
It probably helps that I've watched loads of subtitled films and TV, so I can weirdly read and watch at the same time.
I get the frustration with them, they are generally a bolted and generic affair, but a film called Night Watch raised the bar:

I've not seen anything like it since. Great film too, and the sequel Day Watch is well worth checking out. I live in hope that the conclusion to the trilogy, Dusk Watch gets made one day.
indeed, both are brilliant. I half recall there may have been a poorly regarded 3rd one done by someone else - but not seen it
The two films barely scratch the surface of the full story.Just the two films so far. You'd need to make 10, at a guess, to cover the whole story properly.

Yes, both films are from the first half of the first book, but with elements of the second book added to the story. It's been a while, but from what I remember aren't they pretty much half of the first book?
