We watched 20,000 Leagues under the sea, one of our favourite films of all time.

Weapons - 9/10

Annoyingly I missed this at the cinema, but I'm glad I managed to avoid anything beyond the advert, which thankfully gives nothing away. That said it could have gone in any number of directions until it settles, and although it's nothing new it's seriously well done.

A chilling atmosphere, killer soundtrack and excellent performances all round. Horror is in great shape right now, which is always a good thing.

The Foreigner.

Not your usual Jackie Chan fare, although there is a bit of that in it.

Its quite a good thriller whereby the IRA upset chan, a guerilla warfare expert who'd fought against the Khmer Rouge.

A bit of slapping, a lot of blowing up, some torture, and a reasonable plot with enough parallel threads and twists to keep on interested.

A surprising 7/10.

Not one I've seen but an upcoming film The Running Man..

Not sure if I really want to see it or really want to avoid it??? 🤭

I did like the original but there again I like most of Arnie's films, not read any reviews yet but seen a trailer which seemed like it was an all action rollercoaster of a movie.

Sin City 2

Not a patch on Sin City but that still leaves it well clear of the usual dross

Jackie versus Pierce Brosnan as a thinly veiled version of Gerry Adams, brilliant film.
