The Tank on Prime. Very well reviewed, acted, and shot. I thought it would be a different take on most WWII films we see.
Had a few twists but if you haven't predicted the end after 15 minutes then I'll be surprised. A fine 5/10 but don't go out of your way.
One of the longest fight scenes in cinematic history,😃
I think the wonderful Roger Moore v Lee Marvin fight scene in Shout at the Devil aces it.
R - it was ok but a bit silly.Predator a really great film
Predator a really great film
How much did you pay him for it?Useless fact - as I write im wearing the same watch that Arnie wore jn Predator.
Whilst we're on Anderson and the masterpiece that is The Grand Budapest Hotel....I recently rewatched Wes Anderson's The Phoenician Scheme and still couldn't warm to it !
I mean his films are never going to be bad for me but this just didn't cut it,sorry Wes ☹️
Not seen it myself as not my thing but wife and eldest went to watch Hamnet and they thought it was very dull and boring which made me even more convinced I made the right decision.
As was said above, taste in flms very personal
I think that the requirement that you must have watched it specifically last night is too restrictive. What if you watched it yesterday afternoon? Or the night before last?
Thats why its called Tron Arse.
Inclined to agree. I like Wes's films a lot, Phoenician Scheme, whilst on similar lines and style, is bit on the dull side, and a bit "so what?"
Finally seen this. Wow. An odd film, in that it wouldn't exist - or have any point - without the Batman "legend", and not a great deal happens*.
But it is SUPERBLY done. I have never felt so tense for 2hours solid. Wack'ims performance was just mesmerising.
*This is quite a good feature - I was expecting a lot more action, violence, blood etc.
(and kudos to Bob DeNiro for taking on that role [no spoilers!])
