No, which is why I went to see it as it was a complete contrast to 'The Devils' which I'd recently seen being filmed in Northumberland and later at the cinema. Is it as mad as his other stuff?

Old Boy (2013) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oldboy_(2013_film)
I found it strange. Some of the now common fight scenes that are more like dance. Sort of engaging but at the end I did wonder what the point was (maybe I'm just too slow to have appreciated its message). Not a film I'd recommend but also not a disaster.
Having watched through to the end, with hindsight now I wouldn't bother watching it.
Total nonsense is right.I watched the Mandalorian film with my son.
Total nonsense, lots of fights, no jeopard as you know he isn’t going to die, but still good fun.
It’s a kids film, don’t take it seriously.
Ice Road (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ice_Road)
Some big names staring in the film eg Liam Neeson. Plenty of action sequences well made but what little story there was predictable so overall rather dull despite stars, action, etc. Bit of a wast of however long the playing time was.
One excellent Liam Neeson film (maybe following the same "spirit") I watched recently was Memory (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Memory_(2022_film)). Can't remember if I posted it in this thread.I saw that last year. Liam Neeson seems to play the same character with the same background, cut and paste into a slightly different scenario. See also Cold Pursuit, The Grey, Taken, Unknown etc etc. Entertaining films nonetheless
